Lily Lorentzen Heading to Stanford

As a freshman, Harvard's Lily Lorentzen captured her first Howe Cup title. Next year could mark a historic first if she repeats as a Stanford sophomore. It would be the first time an intercollegiate champion represented a school west of Chicago.

From Crimson to Cardinal

A change in scenery for Lily Lorentzen makes for a major change on the women’s college squash scene as the reigning intercollegiate champ is packing up her bags and heading west to Stanford. Lorentzen, who played for Harvard last year, cited the Bay Area atmosphere and a good psychology department amongst her reasons for transferring. Lorentzen will join Mark Talbott’s squad in late September after a summer of coaching, training and playing events, including the World University Games.
